About the Team
We wanted you to get to know us beyond just a headshot and bio, so we put ourselves in front of the camera for a change. In these short videos, you’ll hear from Caitlyn, Kalee, Dan, and Danielle about what we love most about capturing your moments.
And yes, we mostly kept it together. If you want to see who we really are, scroll down to the bloopers. You’ve been warned. And don’t worry, if we’re your photographers, you can’t do any worse than us in front of the camera!
Caitlyn - Owner
Caitlyn is the face behind Moments Captured CNY and the voice behind Shoot the Vows, a podcast all about the wedding industry. When she’s not photographing your big day, she’s probably talking about it. She started this business because she believes every couple deserves photos that actually feel like them, not stiff poses and forced smiles.
Kalee - Lead Videographer
Kalee is the lead videographer at Moments Captured CNY and co-host of Shoot the Vows alongside Caitlyn. She brings all the energy and is the biggest hype woman you’ll ever meet. If you need someone to gas you up on your wedding day, she’s your girl. She has an eye for capturing the moments that happen in between the big ones, the little glances and laughs that make your wedding day yours.
Dan - Lead Photographer
Dan is another hype man on the team and hands down has the best sense of humor out of all of us. He’s especially great at working with grooms, getting those natural smiles and laughs instead of the dreaded “I don’t know what to do with my hands” look. If your partner is nervous about being in front of the camera, Dan’s got them covered.
Danielle - Lead Portrait Photographer
Danielle might seem shy at first, but she’s insightful and thoughtful. She’s amazing at slowing things down and guiding you through posing in a way that makes you feel at ease and relaxed. She’s thoughtful and intentional with every shot, making sure nothing feels rushed. If you want someone who will take their time and make you feel comfortable, Danielle’s your photographer.
