Colloca Estate Winery in Fair Haven is one of those venues that truly has everything in one place. Set on a private 103-acre estate along Little Sodus Bay, this waterfront winery gives couples lake views, vineyard charm, spacious event areas, and plenty of room for the entire wedding day to flow without feeling cramped. The property has 900 feet of unobstructed waterfront, which means the views are a major part of the experience from the moment guests arrive. The Bayfront Wedding and Event Center is large enough for bigger weddings, with space for 400+ guests, while still feeling polished, warm, and intentional.
Everything at Colloca feels convenient in the best way. You have the ceremony space, reception space, getting-ready areas, waterfront, vineyards, and photo locations all right there, so the day does not feel scattered or rushed. The bridal suite is massive, which is always a huge win for hair, makeup, dresses, details, and keeping the morning calm. Their coordination team is also wonderful to work with and helps keep the day moving smoothly from start to finish.
Why we love it
The waterfront is obviously the showstopper here. Little Sodus Bay gives you that peaceful, romantic lake backdrop without needing to leave the property, and it photographs beautifully throughout the day. Ceremony views, sunset portraits, walking shots by the water, vineyard photos, wide open estate shots — there are so many different looks in one venue.
We also love how much space Colloca gives you. Some venues are beautiful but tight, and that can make the day feel like everyone is constantly shifting from one small area to the next. Colloca does not have that problem. There is room for getting ready, portraits, cocktail hour, dinner, dancing, and everything in between.
And the bridal suite deserves its own moment. A large getting-ready space makes such a difference in the morning, especially with bigger wedding parties. There is room to breathe, room for details, room for everyone’s things, and room for the morning to actually feel fun instead of chaotic.
