The Manor House — Pierrepont Manor, NY

About this venue

The Manor House in Pierrepont Manor is one of those venues that checks every single box and then some. Tucked just off I-81 in Jefferson County, this elegant and secluded property sits on private grounds with sprawling gardens, a grand ballroom, a renovated cocktail patio, and a string-lit fire pit area that keeps the night going long after dinner. The flow of the day here is genuinely thoughtful: ceremony in the private gardens under a stunning 150-foot tree canopy, cocktail hour on the covered patio with an outdoor bar, then dinner and dancing in the ballroom. It accommodates up to 150 guests comfortably indoors, up to 180 with the cocktail patio. A dedicated bridal suite and newly renovated groom’s room are both on site, outside catering is welcome, and the venue is yours for 14 full hours. It’s also one of the most accessible price points on this entire list for what you get.

Why we love it

We are not exaggerating when we say this is our favorite venue in the entire region. The gardens are absolutely stunning, and that 150-foot tree canopy over the ceremony site creates this magical, cathedral-like feel that no amount of floral decoration could replicate. Every angle of the property gives us something beautiful to work with, and we have never left a wedding here without images we are truly proud of.

The bridal suite is genuinely one of the best getting-ready spaces in CNY. Hair and makeup artists rave about it, the light is great, the space is comfortable, and that energy from a beautiful, calm getting-ready room carries into every single photo from the first look forward.

And then there is Carl. We cannot say enough about him. He is organized, warm, flexible, and completely invested in making every couple’s day perfect. Every vendor we have ever worked alongside at The Manor House walks away saying the same thing: Carl is the best in the business. When you have a coordinator who genuinely cares that much, the whole day just runs beautifully, and that makes our job so much more enjoyable too.

Strengths

The Gardens and Tree Canopy

A 150-foot natural canopy over the ceremony site creates a breathtaking, one-of-a-kind backdrop that is impossible to recreate with decor alone.

Carl and the Coordination Team

Hands down the most caring, organized, and vendor-friendly coordination team we work with. When Carl is running your day, you can relax and actually enjoy it.

Exceptional Value

One of the most competitively priced full-service wedding venues in the region, with a level of quality and experience that rivals venues twice the cost.
