About this venue
White Eagle Properties in Hamilton is a newly renovated venue sitting on the shores of Lake Moraine, surrounded by trees and rolling countryside in Madison County. The property is actually made up of three distinct spaces: the Appley Center with the stunning Chandelier Room, the Americana Village with a covered bridge, gazebo, and pond, and The Grove, a lakeside lodge setting. The Chandelier Room holds up to 400 guests and is where the recently redone ballroom and that gorgeous staircase live. For ceremonies, couples have multiple indoor and outdoor options to choose from. The property also has 25 cabins on-site sleeping up to 99 guests, a complimentary cottage for the newlyweds, and day-of coordination included in every package.
Why we love it
The indoor ceremony space here is one of the best in the region, full stop. It’s elegant, well-lit, and gives you that grand, formal feel that’s genuinely hard to find in CNY. For fall and winter couples especially, this is a venue worth putting at the top of your list.
And then there’s the ballroom. The recent renovation took it to another level, and those winding staircases are everything for a grand entrance. We love photographing entrances and exits on a statement staircase because the images are dynamic, layered, and full of energy in a way that a flat doorway entrance just is not. Your guests will lose it, and your photos will show it.
The coordination team is wonderful to work with, and on a property this large with this many moving pieces, that matters a lot.
