About this venue

The Silos of Seneca is a contemporary white barn wedding venue sitting right in the heart of Finger Lakes wine country just outside of Geneva. The property has sweeping rural views, a gorgeous outdoor ceremony lawn, and an on-site barn that was thoughtfully restored and designed with weddings in mind, from the one-of-a-kind chandeliers to the board and batten siding. They max out at 150 guests, and you get the entire property from Friday through Sunday, so there’s no rushing in or out. Packages range from DIY-friendly to nearly all-inclusive, making it a solid option across a range of budgets. Day-of coordination, bridal and groom suites, and on-site housing for up to 16 guests are all part of the package depending on which tier you book.

Why we love it

Most traditional barns are dark, and dark interiors make for tricky photography. The Silos painted their barn white, and it genuinely makes a difference. The brighter interior means more light bouncing around the room, which translates to cleaner, more natural looking reception photos without us having to fight the space. It’s one of those details that couples might not think about, but we absolutely notice.

The coordination team there is also really wonderful to work with. They care about the day running smoothly and it shows. A great coordinator keeps the timeline moving, which means we get the shots we need, and you actually get to enjoy your night.
