Timber Banks — Baldwinsville, NY

About this venue

Timber Banks in Baldwinsville is one of those venues that looks completely different depending on what time of year you visit, and honestly? It’s stunning either way. Sitting along the Seneca River on a Jack Nicklaus-designed golf course, the Grand Ballroom holds up to 330 guests with 22-foot timber beam ceilings, dramatic chandeliers, and fireplaces at both ends of the room. From May through October, couples can exchange vows at the waterside gazebo with the river as their backdrop. When the weather turns, the indoor ceremony space in front of the fireplace is just as gorgeous. The team there handles coordination, catering, linens, floor plans, and more in-house, so there’s a lot less juggling for you to do as a couple.

Why we love it

First, the bridal suite. It is spacious, well-lit, and genuinely beautiful, which matters more than people realize when you’re spending a few hours getting ready and want those photos to actually look good. Bright, airy, flattering light makes our job so much easier and makes you look incredible.

Second, winter weddings here are a total vibe. The venue decorates for Christmas and the fireplaces are glowing, and that warm, cozy atmosphere is something you truly cannot manufacture. If you’re a fall or winter couple, Timber Banks should absolutely be on your shortlist.

And the coordination team there is exceptional. From everything we’ve experienced, they are organized, communicative, and genuinely invested in making your day run smoothly. As photographers, we love working alongside a strong coordination team because when the day stays on schedule, we get every shot on our list.
